Comparison of Repayment Options

1. Equal Payment (Principal + Interest Amortization)
Also known as the standard level payment method. The borrower pays a fixed monthly sum throughout the loan term. Initially, most of the payment covers interest, but over time, more goes toward the principal.
Formula: Monthly Payment \( = P \times \frac{r(1+r)^n}{(1+r)^n - 1} \) (where \( P \) is principal, \( r \) is monthly interest rate, and \( n \) is number of months)

2. Equal Principal Repayment
The borrower pays a fixed amount of principal monthly, plus interest calculated on the outstanding balance. Monthly payments decrease steadily, and this method incurs the lowest total interest cost overall.

3. Interest-Only (Bullet Loan)
The borrower pays only interest every month, and pays back the entire principal lump sum on the final month. This results in very low initial cash outflow but maximum overall interest cost.
